New Year, New Things?

This is a new year. My new year's resolution is "Waste Not Want Not". what this means depends. I would like it to mean spending more time being productive and therefore wishing for less, since I would have archived my goals. However, If the way I have started the year is any indication, I am very depressed, something that seems to "run" in my family, with my job and my life, I am in for a long year. Depression can at times feel like being stuck in quicksand. When in quicksand you are advised to remain still, however, with depression being still just seems to get you in deeper. I am hoping that putting this out there would help.

You crack me up!

I saw the locals taking turns sitting in a white sedan. When the first guy got into the car, I thought someone was giving him a ride. However, the car came to a stop and the guy got out, about five other guys did the same thing. Three of the men congregated behind a dumpster. Ten minutes later one of them came out and sat on the curb, as he got up a glass tube, burnt on one end, fell from his pocket. Also, two other men crossed the street and went into the bushes.

Somebody's watching me...

This guy is just following me around the library. The guy seems retarded. He is creeping me out at this point. As of July 27 2007, I have moved from New York to Maryland. I have been coming to the library to kill time, connect to their wifi and get some reading done.

Connected to my pc...

My idea was to buy a Bluetooth headset and use it with both my Motorola phone and the voip program, Skype, thats on my laptop. The problem is that the built-in Bluetooth stack in Windows Xp SP2 does not support Bluetooth headsets. Fortunately Broadcom provides a Bluetooth stack of their own, located at: http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.php, which allows you to use these Bluetooth headsets as you would any wired headsets. I downloaded the executable file, double-clicked it, and, followed the instruction, and it works. Additional instructions on installing the driver and an overview of the technology can be found on this site: http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html?page=1.
note: When I downloaded the file,I simple double-clicked the executable from the location where I saved it.

Regilous abandonment...

This is a picture of the Anglican church thats on Church street in St. George's Grenada. This is the inside the church. That puddle of water is inside the church. If you look closely you will notice that in the far corner there is a setup which I would assume is being used to keep service. The benches on that side still have not faded, there are fresh flowers on what seems to be an pulpit, and you can notice some sort of fabric covering the table. The European churches in St. George's are the only indications that Ivan ever passed. The three main churches; the one on church street, the one by Convent high school, and the one by the Hospital, all are missing their roofs. One would think that the multi-million dollar European churches would be the first to open their pockets to get their congregation back on their feet. They must have concluded that it was useless to get slaves into heaven.

Sticky fingers...

If you look closely, you would notice that the bike is chained to the post in the middle of the car. The owner is the guy on the left of the image with his legs crossed. I guess that people in New York would steal your stuff right in front of you. This was on the A train to Manhattan.
